Description

Center Folded Polyolefin Films come from the manufacturer on a roll with a single fold along the length of the film. This means that one side of the film is already in place with a solid "seal". When using an L-Bar Sealer to wrap an item, the item is placed on the film, and the first sealing action of the L-Bar effectively creates a top and bottom 3-sided seal around the product, thanks to the Center Folded film. The next action of the L-Bar sealer completes the 4th side of the seal for the first item while also creating the 3-sided seal for the next item in line to be shrink wrapped.

Center Folded films are also called Half-Tubular films. These films are used when items to be wrapped will not be placed into bags, but rather the Center Folded film will be made into a bag around the item.
