The PTFE Fluoropolymer coated non-stick fabric covers listed here are designed to be placed on top of the element to keep the plastic material from sticking on most types of sealers including vacuum sealers. They do not, with the exception of the TZ cover, have an adhesive backing. PTFE coated Fiberglass non-stick covers and tapes act as a protective barrier to hot wire contacts and provides a quick release surface. Applicable for temperatures from 400°F to 600°F. The covers and tapes are a natural brown color and have the USDA approval for direct contact with food.
The PTFE Covers are available in 5mil thickness from a width of 1" to 12" in precut sizes for different types of sealers, or by the roll in 10 yard or 36 yard rolls. Most hand sealers without cutters from 12" to 20" long use 1-1/4" covers. The 4" and 8" hand sealers use 1-1/8" covers. Hand sealers with cutters from 8" to 16" use 1-1/2" covers.
