Specialty pouches include 2.5mil Deli Gold vista pouch (clear front with gold back), 4.5mil high barrier zipper jerky pouches in three colors, 3mil red/white cross hatch pattern printed pouches and 20 x 25 high barrier long hold cheese pouch. The vacuum pouches on this page are acceptable for use up to and including 149_F (jerky pouches are acceptable up to 212_F) as packaging material in direct contact with food product. The U.S. Department of Agriculture requires meat, poultry and dairy plants to secure and keep on file guarantees from packaging suppliers stating that their packaging materials comply with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
