Often described as "Mylar," metallized materials are becoming more popular in flexible packaging for their moderate barrier qualities and lower cost. For products requiring a better barrier than poly, but not quite as good as foil, metallized bags and pouches are the perfect fit. Resealable zippers are included on all available sizes from 1 oz. to 8 lb. Available in gold, black, red, green, silver, matte silver, brushed bronze and kraft paper.
Many of our stand-up pouches have a zipper and/or a built-in one way degassing valve that lets gas generated by your product escape while maintaining a vacuum. The valve is used often with products like coffee. The short description shows if a pouch has a zipper or a valve.
