When looking for a simple and cost-effective packaging solution, poly bags are typically one of the first options that come to mind. Although the barrier quality of these pouches is significantly lower than a foil material, they still provide an air-tight environment. Since many products don_Ë˜€Â«Ã³Ë˜t require an extended shelf life, poly is being used as a great alternative. Sizes range from 2 oz. to 5 lb. and a wide array of colors provides a broad spectrum of bag choices. The side-seal style available on the 6-10 oz. and 12-16 oz. allows labels to be applied smoothly since the label does not have to cover the seal. The concealed seal on the 5 lb. bags creates extra durability to prevent bag bursting. If you need to allow gases generated by the product to escape without letting outside air back in, take a look at our gussetted pouches with a degassing valve. They are designed to keep your product fresh while also serving as a pressure relief system. Pouch capacities shown (2 Oz, 6-10 Oz., etc.) are approximate and will vary depending on the product you are packing. These poly pouches are clear. They are available in silver and black under a different part number. Most gusseted pouches DO NOT have a re-closable zipper.
